April 30, 2014
This year, The Feil Family Brain and Mind Research Institute of WCMC hosted the Leon Levy Neuroscience Fellows Symposium. The symposium, which took place on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, in the Belfer Research Building, highlighted the Leon Levy Fellowship Endowment, the cutting edge research being done at Weill-Cornell, and the individual discoveries and contributions of each Leon Levy Neuroscience Fellow. The Plenary talk was given by our own Dr. Gregory A. Petsko, The Arthur J. Mahon Professor of Neurology, and the Director of the Appel Alzheimer's Disease Research Institute, who has performed groundbreaking research on the relation of proteins to the causes of age-related neurodegenerative diseases. We are honored to have hosted this momentous event.
