The lecture was given by Dr. Karel Svoboda, Group Leader, Janelia Farm Research Campus, and Howard Hughes Medical Scholar. His lecture was entitled, "The Neural Circuits Underlying Tactile Sensation".  Dr. Svoboda gave a spectacular talk and our Dean's and Faculty thoroughly enjoyed the time spent hosting this renowned scientist.
